We are so happy and grateful that Happy Pooch Superior opened in Thunder Bay. Our Husky cannot be off leash, and our German Shepherd can be quite timid and shy, and Tia made us feel so comfortable leaving them in her care and knowing they were safe and happy. Both of our dogs were comfortable with her right away, and it was immediately clear to us how knowledgable and experienced Tia is with all types of dogs. Her being so comfortable with our dogs right away let us leave them feeling confident they would be happy and have a blast while there. A big bonus was getting to see pictures of them exploring outside and having a great time. Her property is amazing!

This was my dogs first time at happy pooch superior, and it’s safe to say it exceeded my expectations and left my dog happy. They kept her entertained, cared for, and active throughout her stay, I’m definitely bringing her back here for future boarding:)

I cannot recommend Happy Pooch Superior enough! Tia is a very talented groomer and is that rare find that not only delivers an exceptional groom but does so with kindness and gentleness and with the dog’s best interests in mind at all times.
Her kennel staff is very reliable and works well with all the dogs and every dog is treated like a treasured family member.

I have had the pleasure of joining their off leash walks with daycare and boarding dogs with my dogs and it’s always a great time. I definitely will be booking my dogs there when I next have to travel as I know they will receive the care that I would give them at home and have a great time.

We had such a great experience at Happy Pooch Superior with our puppy Benny. When our flight was cancelled, Tia was super accommodating and had no problem keeping him for an extra night. He was so well taken care of and had so much fun with all of the other pups during our time away. Thank you again, and we can’t wait to bring him back!

I’m so glad I found this boarding place. The owner was incredibly kind and caring. Our dog has always lacked social skills and tends to be quite wary of other dogs, but during the short time she stayed there, she made wonderful progress. She not only improved her social skills but also learned to relax and trust other dogs. The owner gave our dog such sweet warmth and care — it was truly a precious and heartwarming experience for both our dog and us. We’re deeply grateful for her love, patience, and dedication.
